6 Bathroom Inspirations

6 BATHROOM INSPIRATIONS

1. FLOATING VANITY UNITS

Bathroom vanity units add a touch of luxury and practicality to any bathroom, or ensuite.  White taking up a similar amount of lateral space as a pedestal basin, vanity units not only create added surface area, they also offer useful storage beneath the basin.

A wall hung vanity basin unit is the ideal choice both for functionality and hygiene.  They can also conceal pipework and offer new options in terms of bathroom layout.

Ambiance Bain have designed a huge selection of standard, compact and offset wall hung vanity units, so there is an option for any size or shape of bathroom.  All of the units come with lots of storage options allowing you to create a bespoke bathroom design.

2. WALL HUNG TOILETS

Wall Hung toilets are a stylish alternative to a standard WC.  They not only look fantastic in contemporary bathroom design, but are very practical, hygienic and space saving.

As the toilet pan is elevated from the floor, you can clean around and under the toilet with ease and with no bulky cistern, they don’t occupy too much space.  The cistern can be concealed within a beautiful low-level WC unit or if you prefer a high-level unit can also provide much needed storage.

Ambiance Bain provide a choice of both high and low-level wall hung toilet units, which come in a vast array of beautiful colours and can be fully co-ordinated with other bathroom furniture and shower spaces.  Most units come complete with a Geberit super strong multi fix frame and cistern which are load tested to over 400kg (60 stones).

3. MIRRORS & LIGHTS

It is sometimes the finishing touches to a bathroom which make all the difference to the design and feel of your room.

An illuminated bathroom mirror is perfect for providing extra light or adding a serene atmosphere, or if you prefer brighter lighting, then adding a light above the mirror is the right choice.

A hot morning shower is a great way to start the day, but you soon realise your mirror will be out of action for a while until the condensation clears, unless you add an anti-mist pad to your mirror, which will prevent it from fogging up.

Non illuminated bathroom mirrors can still stand out as a feature in your bathroom.  Ambiance Bain have a selection of mirrors which full co-ordinate with your bathroom furniture, or add a touch of simplicity with a round or oblong mirror, with or without an edged finish.

With fitted furniture you can have a panoramic mirror with lighting pelmet for that stunning hotel feel.  The choice is yours.

4. BATHROOM COMBINATION UNITS

Offering a practical and functional solution, a toilet and basin combination unit saves space and gives a clean, fresh feel to a bathroom.

The basin unit provides lots of storage space, whilst the WC cistern is neatly concealed along with any unsightly water and waste pipework.

An excellent choice for a small bathroom, but looks equally as great with additional furniture in a larger room.

Ambiance Bain offer a huge range of modular and fitted combination unit solutions as well as short projections and offset units to fit your design and space utilisation needs.

5. AN ALTERNATIVE TO TILES

Tiles although can play a huge part in bathroom design, can be difficult to maintain, so the ideal alternative is Wall Panelling.

Ambiance Bain SMO™ Wall Panels come in 17 Matt, Gloss or Sparkly colours as well as up to 200 RAL options, so creating your perfect harmonious finish.

SMO™ is an exclusive material, created from a mixture of natural stone powders and a 1mm thick surface gel coat and with no grout lines to maintain is extremely hardwearing and simple to clean with warm soapy water.

Installation is much quicker than traditional tiling and the flat surface helps water and condensation drain off with ease.

Durable and waterproof, Wall Panels are the ideal solution for a wet room environment or creating a beautiful shower space.

6. HOW COLOUR MAKES YOU FEEL

For many years, artists and interior designers have believed that colour is a powerful communication tool and can be used to influence mood and even physiological reactions and can dramatically affect feelings and emotions.

White can feel clean and fresh, giving a spacious feeling, Black is a powerful colour associated with luxury whilst Silver is linked to modernity and cutting-edge.  Red is a bold, attention seeking colour whilst Blue provides stability and can make you feel relaxed and serene.  Yellow is a happy colour which brightens your mood and you might be seen to be more of a risk taker whilst Grey is for the discerning person who prefers something more subtle.

So, having such a huge selection of colour and finish combinations from Ambiance Bain provides an option for everyone and helps you to design your perfect bathroom, ensuite or shower room to suit your family and your needs.
